Essence of Caldwell Night Rodeo

By Emma Crane

This heart bursts with the spirit of the Caldwell Night Rodeo—bold, energetic, and full of local pride. One side comes to life with a horse and rider painted in motion, capturing the raw power and thrill of the arena. The design celebrates the grit, excitement, and camaraderie that make rodeo a cherished tradition and a true reflection of the community’s western heart.

Meet the Heart-ist

My name is Emma and I knew I loved making art when I was little. It wasn’t until high school that I realized I had a specialty for western realism. Since this project is centered around CNR, I’ll say my favorite event to watch is goat tying and calf wrestling. A little bit about me- I love being outdoors. I love fishing and hunting thanks to my dad. I always go hunt with my dad and sometimes my older brothers whom I live with. I am a big time Christian and I love pursuing Jesus every day through prayer and Bible study. I go to the gym everyday with my brother too and find comfort in improving myself. I take no pride in my work and give it all to Jesus. I also work at the Nampa Texas Roadhouse as a server and seasonally I might work for recreation taxidermy in Caldwell! I am a big talker if you haven’t noticed, but I’ll take any chance I can get to talk about God!
