Together We Rise

By Emily Meidell

“Together We Rise” by Emily Meidell celebrates hope, resilience, and the strength we find in one another. One side features a vibrant orange butterfly against shades of green, yellow, and orange, alongside the welcoming words “So Glad You’re Here.” The butterfly symbolizes growth through struggle and the beauty that can emerge from life’s difficult seasons. On the other side, four figures stand with their arms around one another, overlooking a canyon and waterfall beneath a glowing sunrise—a reminder that each new day offers an opportunity to begin again. Whether we are offering a helping hand or reaching for one, this heart reminds us that we rise higher together.

Meet the Heart-ist

I’m Emily Meidell, a passionate painter and educator living in the growing Southern Idaho. My art has found its way to the Full Moon Art Gallery and Art and Soul of the Magic Valley, and you can spot my murals brightening up downtown Twin Falls. I’m captivated by the magic of light and color, and my work aims to highlight the little wonders of life with a bold, colorful, and expressive flair. When I’m not creating art, you’ll find me road biking, enjoying time with my wonderful husband, or keeping up with the whirlwind of activities with my five energetic kids. Let’s connect and share in the beauty of life!
