CBH Homes Is Proud to Sponsor the 2026 Snake River Stampede – Idaho’s Wildest, Fastest Show on Earth
At CBH Homes, We Build Idaho – and that means more than building houses. It means investing in the communities, traditions, and people that make this state one of the best places on earth to call home. That’s why we are proud to be a sponsor of the 2026 Snake River Stampede, one of the top professional rodeos in the entire nation, right here in our Treasure Valley backyard.
Whether you’re a lifelong rodeo fan, a newcomer to the western way, or just someone who loves an electric summer night out, here’s everything you need to know about the biggest event to hit Nampa every June.
What Is the Snake River Stampede?
The Snake River Stampede isn’t just a rodeo. It’s an Idaho institution.
What started in 1913 as a small bucking horse competition tied to the Nampa Harvest Festival has grown into one of the top professional rodeos in the United States, ranked by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2014. Over 60,000 attendees from across the region and around the world show up each year for five nights of world-class competition at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.
The 2026 Snake River Stampede runs June 16-20 at Ford Idaho Center (16200 Idaho Center Blvd, Nampa, ID). Evening performances start at 7:30 PM nightly, with doors opening at 5:30 PM.
This is as big as it gets in Idaho sports and entertainment – and it happens right in our backyard.
What Happens at the Stampede?
Pull on your boots and get ready, because there is nothing slow about this event.
World-class cowboys and cowgirls compete for their share of nearly half a million dollars in prize money across events including bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, and ladies’ barrel racing. Then, if you’ve never watched a child hang on for dear life during mutton busting, add it to your bucket list immediately.
And after the last event of the night? The party keeps going. Every single night of the 2026 Stampede ends with a live concert immediately following the rodeo in the amphitheater. The 2026 lineup includes American Tradition, Drake Milligan, Scotty Mac & the Nugs, 1871, and Almost Famous.
Western boutiques, food trucks, and a mechanical bull round out the experience. This is a full evening out – and then some.
Snake River Stampede and the Neighborgood Spirit
One of the reasons CBH Homes proudly supports the Snake River Stampede is what the organization stands for beyond the arena.
The Stampede is a non-profit, and its annual event has invested millions of dollars into Idaho’s community and economy – supporting local non-profits, youth agricultural clubs, and the broader Treasure Valley. This is exactly the kind of community-first heart that drives our own Neighborgood program.
When an organization raises millions for the community it serves, that’s not just a rodeo. That’s a neighbor. And neighbors are what We Build Idaho is all about.
Stampede for the Cure – Because the Community Shows Up for Each Other
One of the most powerful things the Snake River Stampede does is fund work that saves lives.
The Snake River Stampede Board founded Stampede for the Cure, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is simple and vital: to inspire and enable people in our community to receive annual mammograms by removing barriers to care. Every single dollar raised stays local – going directly to fund free breast cancer screenings for Idahoans right here in the Treasure Valley.
Since its founding in 2006, Stampede for the Cure has raised and donated well over $1 million toward free mammograms for uninsured and underinsured Idahoans. Screenings are provided at local hospitals, and the impact is real – early detection saves lives. Breast cancer caught in early stages has a 5-year survival rate of 90%. For many Idahoans, Stampede for the Cure has made that early detection possible.
What Is the Pink on the Dirt Luncheon?
Each year, the heart of Stampede for the Cure comes to life during one of the most moving events of Stampede week: Pink on the Dirt.
Held on Wednesday during the Snake River Stampede, Pink on the Dirt is a luncheon and auction fundraiser on the arena floor of the Ford Idaho Center – yes, on the actual rodeo dirt. Attendees wear pink, share stories, celebrate survivors, and bid in both live and silent auctions, with every dollar raised going directly to fund free mammograms for those who need them most.
The 2026 Pink on the Dirt luncheon drew a record 840 attendees, adding to nearly $1.5 million raised over the organization’s 20-year history. What started 20 years ago as a bunco game with about 100 people has become one of the most beloved community fundraising events in the Treasure Valley.
Past events have featured survivor testimonials, rodeo royalty appearances from Miss Rodeo Idaho, and auction packages including cabin retreats, VIP rodeo experiences, and more. Emcee Michelle Heart put it best at a recent event: “When you’re surrounded by survivors and people who’ve walked that road before you, it makes you know that you are not alone, and the community is just going to pick you up and wrap their arms around you.”
That’s Idaho. And that’s exactly why CBH Homes is proud to be part of it.
Why CBH Homes Sponsors the Snake River Stampede
We are Idaho’s #1 homebuilder – 19 consecutive years and counting – and with over 29,000 happy homeowners across the Treasure Valley, we take that responsibility seriously.
Sponsoring the Snake River Stampede is one of the ways we live out our commitment to the communities where our homeowners live, work, and build their lives. When the Treasure Valley comes together for events like this – to cheer, to celebrate, and to raise money that keeps Idahoans healthy – we want to be there.
This is what Neighborgood looks like in action.
