CBH Homes “Our Town” at Lowe Family Farmstead

CBH Homes and Lowe Family Farmstead have turned a corner of Idaho’s favorite fall destination into a mini-town experience, with a little art to discover along the way too.

The Story So Far

CBH Homes has always believed in building communities, not just houses. CBH “Our Town” is that idea brought to life.

CBH Homes and Lowe Family Farmstead first teamed up in 2024 to build CBH “Our Town.” At the time, the town opened with three staples: a schoolhouse, a Farmer’s House, and a general store. Then, in 2025, a little chapel joined the lineup, bringing the total to four buildings. Since then, each new addition has made CBH Homes Our Town an even bigger part of the Farmstead experience. Now, a new firehouse is joining the town for the 2026 season as a surprise for guests!

The goal behind CBH Our Town is simple: create a place where families can connect, grow, and make memories together. After all, places like Lowe Family Farmstead are part of what makes the Treasure Valley community special. Because of that, CBH Homes is proud to continue supporting them season after season.

Homeschool Days & Community Events

Beyond the playhouses, CBH Homes also hosts Homeschool Days at The Farmstead. During these events, homeschool groups can visit, explore Our Town, and enjoy the farm together. In addition, families have another fun opportunity to connect with the community while experiencing everything The Farmstead has to offer.

Come Visit the CBH Hearts Across the Valley Installation: “The Heart of Farmstead”

While you’re exploring CBH Homes Our Town, don’t miss “The Heart of the Farmstead,” a CBH Hearts Across the Valley installation created by artists Hans Nelson and Jay Smith. Inspired by the aesthetic of a traditional American farm, the piece pairs a worn, rough barn wood exterior with a rusted metal treatment. As a result, it has a tactile quality you can both see and touch. Together, those materials capture the aged beauty, durability, and timeless charm that define farm life in Idaho.

Hearts Across the Valley is CBH Homes’ community art initiative. In fact, this heart marks another special stop along the trail. Plus, because it lives right on the Farmstead grounds, it’s an easy addition to any visit this season.

Visit The Farmstead This Season

Lowe Family Farmstead is located at 2500 South Eagle Road in Kuna. For the 2026 season, the Farmstead runs from September 13 through October 30. During the week, it’s open Monday through Thursday from 4pm to 9pm. Meanwhile, Friday and Saturday hours are 10am to 9pm.

Corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and Our Town are all included with admission. So, whether you’re coming for fall traditions, family fun, or a visit to Our Town, there’s plenty to experience in a single trip. Plus, the new firehouse gives returning visitors something new to discover this season.

Why CBH Homes Sponsors Our Town

CBH Homes is Idaho’s #1 homebuilder, with more than 30,000 happy homeowners across the Treasure Valley. More importantly, that milestone connects directly to the idea behind Our Town. Simply put, strong communities start with the small, everyday places where people gather, connect, and make memories.

That’s why partnerships like this matter to CBH Homes. Not only do they create memorable experiences for local families, but they also celebrate the communities we’re proud to build in and call home. Ultimately, Our Town is one more way CBH Homes can support the people and places that make the Treasure Valley special.

Come see the new firehouse for yourself this season. While you’re there, ask us about the neighborhoods CBH is building just down the road. Or, explore CBH’s current communities to find a neighborhood near you.
