The House That She Built Girl Scouts Patch Program

CBH Homes + The Girl Scouts Construction Patch Program

Calling on Girl Scouts! CBH was honored to be asked to create a construction walk thru video for the newest Girl Scouts Construction Patch Program, and we’re inviting you to the launch event:

Saturday, March 26th, 2022, 2pm ET
Register here.

The event will also be recorded for those unable to make it LIVE!

What is the The House That She Built?

Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast wants to empower girls to think about STEAM and construction by meeting real professional women in building. Created with the author of the Children’s book, The House That She Built, this program is inspired by the same women who inspired the book. Many of the 100 women who joined together from around the country to build a one-of-a-kind home are Girl Scouts themselves!

You can read more about their story here!

What is the Patch Program?

The intent of this patch program is to build self-esteem and develop skills through curiosity and hand on activities. This patch program is built for everyone! Whether you are a troop leader helping to lead this as a group activity or a Juliette who wishes to complete this at home, this self-paced patch and charm program has something for every level. The charm program will allow Girl Scouts to participate as a troop or help girls journey through the individual areas of interest.

Women in Building

Here at CBH, we are huge supporters of women in construction. CBH Homes is proud to be powered by 62% women, breaking the norm of the male dominated construction industry.

We want to give the knowledge and help to women and young ladies everywhere how they can pursue their passions no matter the industry. Here’s to the future of women breaking barriers, exceeding expectations, and striving for greatness.
