HEARTS ACROSS THE VALLEY KICKED OFF AT PUSH & POUR LATAH

CBH Homes is spreading the love across the Treasure Valley! We launched our Hearts Across the Valley campaign with the very first Heart Party at the Push & Pour Latah location. If you missed it, don’t worry—there’s plenty more heart to come.

PUSH & POUR STARTED IT ALL

We were so excited to begin our journey at Push & Pour on Latah, where we hosted the first-ever Heart Party! The coffee was flowing, the vibes were strong, and the star of the show—Last Train to Boise, a brand new heart installation—made its big debut. Designed by the incredible Jay Smith, also known as @paintedbyjay, this piece is bursting with personality and local flavor.

A Message from our Heart Partner

We were so excited to begin our journey at Push & Pour on Latah, where we hosted the first-ever Heart Party! Watch this special message from the Push & Pour owner, Lucas!

About this Initiative

A joyful group of people gather around a colorful heart-shaped sculpture that reads "So Glad You're Here," featuring desert-themed artwork with cacti and mountains. One man in an orange cap and plaid shirt stands behind the sculpture with his arms raised enthusiastically. The group is smiling and waving, standing near a railroad crossing and a street sign for Alpine Street. The atmosphere is festive and welcoming.

CBH Homes proudly presents CBH Hearts Across the Valley, a groundbreaking community experience celebrating connection across the Treasure Valley & beyond. Beginning in 2025, you’ll be able to explore locally designed hearts created by local artists across 13 cities in Southern Idaho. This is an impactful opportunity to give back to the amazing community we call home–and we’re personally inviting you to be part of it. CBH Hearts Across the Valley celebrates the special connection our communities have in Idaho and will attract visitors, promote and honor businesses and cities, showcase local artists, and encourage friends and families to explore, connect and get outside.

About Our Heart Partner, Push & Pour!

“Push and Pour is a craft coffee and community hub with 3 locations serving up coffee, food, and good times! All our coffee is roasted in Garden City, Idaho. We like to blend quality products and ingredients with good vibes, great music, and community immersive art in all our spaces!” says Lucas, owner of Push & Pour.

Why Did You Become a Heart Partner?

“At Push’s core we love supporting art and community. So when we were approached with the idea of having a “Heart Across The Valley” Heart at one of our locations we were all in! Having partnered with CBH over the years on various projects and events we knew it would be done right! We partnered with local artist and former Push and Pour employee Jay Smith (Painted by Jay) to collaborate on our heart that will be displayed at our 13 S. Latah (Vintage Car Wash Location). There is a train that rolls right by our shop twice a day so we wanted to tie that into the art to not only be a placeholder when the train isn’t there, but also to play on a bit of the neighborhood’s history… and c’mon! Who doesn’t love the feeling of when a train comes rumbling by!” – Lucas, Owner of Push & Pour.

A cheerful group of women stand under a red tent decorated with red balloons, wearing matching red shirts that say "Hearts Across the Valley" and black jackets. They are gathered behind a table offering "Free Swag" with festive red decorations. One woman holds a smiling corgi wearing a pink bandana. The group poses happily, creating a warm and inviting scene.

Behind the Heart-ist!

“Hi! I’m Jay Smith. I’ve been designing and painting custom signage for small businesses, events and markets since 2015. With an emphasis on everything being done by hand, my signs and artwork have a very distinct human feel.

I find that the businesses and people I work with very much want that personal touch and bespoke aesthetic that only a hand painted sign can offer. I consider all of my clients past and future to be my friends, and love working with folks who have an appreciation for the handmade.” – Jay Smith, Artist of Push & Pour’s Heart.
