CBH Homes x Idaho Steelheads: Unveiling the “Heart of Steel”

CBH Homes is excited to unveil another beautiful addition to the Hearts Across the Valley initiative with our friends at the Idaho Steelheads outside the iconic Idaho Central Arena. This partnership brings together community, creativity, and a whole lot of heart.

Join Us for the Big Reveal December 3rd at 5 PM

Mark your calendars! The official unveiling the Heart of Steel will be December 3rd at 5pm. Come down to Idaho Central Arena, snap some photos, grab some swag, meet the team behind the heart, and kick off the evening with a celebration of art, community, and hometown pride.

Introducing the “Heart of Steel”

Designed by local artist Erik Diehl, the Heart of Steel stands proudly outside the Idaho Central Arena, greeting fans and visitors with a powerful blend of hometown spirit and artistic expression. Whether you are enjoying the game, grabbing a bite, or walking through the arena, this striking piece serves as a reminder of the strength, unity, and pride that define Boise.

About the Artist: Erik Diehl

Erik Diehl brings intention and creativity to every piece he creates, and Heart of Steel is no exception. His design reflects Idaho’s winter energy, the grit and movement of the sport, and the unwavering loyalty of Steelheads fans.

About the Heart Partner: Idaho Steelheads

For almost 30 years, the Idaho Steelheads have served the Boise community as an affordable, family-friendly entertainment option, all while achieving tremendous success on the ice. Their dedication to their fans and the Treasure Valley has helped shape the cultural identity of downtown Boise.

Joining the Hearts Across the Valley initiative was a natural fit. With a storied history inside Idaho Central Arena, deep community roots, and shared values of connection and impact, partnering with CBH Homes, the Idaho Steelheads, and the arena made perfect sense. Their involvement reflects a commitment to continuing their legacy in Boise for years to come, both on and off the ice.

What Is Hearts Across the Valley?

You may have seen colorful hearts appearing around the Treasure Valley. These pieces are part of CBH Homes’ Hearts Across the Valley initiative, which celebrates organizations making a positive impact in Idaho. Each heart brings art, positivity, and community pride into local spaces across the region.

Come See It in Person

We look forward to celebrating with you on December 3rd at 5pm at Idaho Central Arena. Be sure to take a photo with the Heart of Steel and share your experience.

Together, we are building homes, strengthening communities, and supporting our home team, and that is something truly worth celebrating.
