CBH Homes Hearts Across the Valley: Meridian Boys & Girls Club

At CBH Homes, our hearts are deeply rooted in the Treasure Valley—and we’re passionate about uplifting the people, places, and organizations that make it extraordinary. Through our Hearts Across the Valley initiative, we’re bringing color and connection to local communities with heart-themed murals by talented Idaho artists.

A Heartfelt Tribute in Meridian

Our latest mural installation brings attention to a vital community resource: the Meridian Boys & Girls Club.

A Home Away From Home for Meridian Youth

When you walk into the Meridian Boys & Girls Club, you’re met with more than just a building—you’re met with a welcoming, safe space filled with laughter, learning, and opportunity. As part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County, this nonprofit serves thousands of children each year, offering:

• Homework assistance
• Mentorship
• Healthy meals and snacks
• Enrichment programs
• Friendship and emotional support

Since 1997, more than 60,000 youth in Ada County have found guidance and inspiration through these programs—making it a cornerstone for youth development in Meridian, Idaho.

The Art and Soul of “Glow & Grow”

The heart mural, titled Glow & Grow, is a visual celebration of youth potential. Painted by Boise-based artist Amandalynn Lovewell, the piece symbolizes the inner light and resilience of the children at the Club. Amandalynn’s artistic approach is rooted in emotional storytelling, blending color and texture to create artwork that connects on a deeper level.

Her mural reflects the Club’s mission perfectly: helping every child glow with confidence and grow with purpose.
