CBH Hearts Across the Valley: Caldwell Night Rodeo
We’re thrilled to bring our next Hearts Across the Valley installation to Caldwell! We’ve teamed up with the incredible Caldwell Night Rodeo to celebrate community, creativity, and connection. This longstanding collaboration celebrates creativity, connection, and Idaho’s cultural heritage.
A Partnership with Caldwell Night Rodeo
CBH Homes is proud to partner with Caldwell Night Rodeo, celebrating its 101st year! As one of the nation’s Top 20 Professional Rodeos and ranked within the Top 5 Large Outdoor Rodeos, Caldwell Night Rodeo welcomes over 50,000 enthusiasts across five thrilling nights every August. This community tradition showcases an elite lineup of professional cowboys, cowgirls, and remarkable animal athletes, promising unmatched excitement and connection year after year.
“Caldwell Night Rodeo has been a cornerstone of our community for generations, and we’re so excited to partner with CBH Homes to bring this Heart to life. It’s a beautiful way to celebrate the people and traditions that make Caldwell so special.”
This partnership is extra special because Caldwell Night Rodeo embodies the same love for community and tradition that Hearts Across the Valley is all about. Together, we’re making art accessible and inspiring everyone who visits to feel the love in Caldwell.
Meet the Artist – Emma Crane
The Heart designed for the Caldwell Rodeo was created by Emma Crane, a Caldwell-based artist known for her western-realism style. Her piece, titled “Essence of Caldwell Night Rodeo.” captures the spirit, grit, and communal energy of rodeo life. Emma’s connection to the outdoors, faith, and local traditions shines through in her work.
“I wanted this Heart to capture the spirit and grit that make rodeo such a cornerstone of our community,” said Emma. “This project is about celebrating the rodeo’s deep roots in Caldwell and the way it brings us together outdoors.”
Emma, known for her western realism style, found her passion for art at a young age. She lives in Caldwell with her family and credits her love for the outdoors—fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature—as a major influence on her work. A committed Christian, Emma pours her heart into her art, saying, “I take no pride in my work and give it all to Jesus.” When she’s not creating, she’s serving at the Nampa Texas Roadhouse or helping out seasonally with recreation taxidermy.
