A message from Corey Barton!

A quick message from Corey Barton, President/Owner of CBH Homes.

It’s always an amazing idea to buy a home.

FIRST STEP TO CREATING WEALTH

I’ve been building homes in the Treasure Valley for 30 years and I’ve learned a lot in that time. Through the crashes, the booms, and everything in between, there’s one thing that always stands out for me. It’s always an amazing idea to buy a home.

Owning a home is the first step to creating wealth. A home gives you more than just a place to live.

You’re gaining security.

You’re gaining an easy monthly savings button.

You’re gaining home appreciation.

You’re building your wealth every month.

Let’s break this down.

Homeownership is the largest source of wealth among families. Whether you’re in your home for 5, 10, or 30 years, the home is gaining equity. Equity is how much your home is worth versus how much you owe on your mortgage.  Not only are you paying down the mortgage each month, but your home is gaining value. While prices can fluctuate up and down, over a 10 year period on average home values rise 3.5 to 3.8% every year.

In a National Association of REALTORS blog, they estimated that single-family homeowners typically accumulated $225,000 in housing wealth over 10 years. Let’s repeat that and let it soak in. Single-family homeowners typically accumulated $225,000 in housing wealth over 10 years.

Buying my first home started me on my wealth journey and I truly believe that owning a home is the first step to creating wealth.

With the new market upon us, it’s also time for a new CBH. We’ve made changes, adjustments, and new processes with you in mind.  We’re here to serve you and help you start gaining wealth.

Our team is standing by to help you with any of our 500 spec homes in 40 communities across the Treasure Valley. With Tour Now, you have access to tour homes 7 days a week and you can always catch the CBH Sales Team out in our communities on the weekends. Start shopping here

It’s a new market, it’s a new us—but one thing is for sure, buying a home is always a good idea. It’s the first step to creating personal wealth. It’s where memories are made. Where families become bigger families. Where lives are changed.

I want you to GET IT ALL in this life. LET’S GO!
