ABOUT HEARTS ACROSS THE VALLEY
CBH Homes proudly presents CBH Hearts Across the Valley, a ground-breaking community experience celebrating connection across the Treasure Valley and beyond. Beginning Spring 2025, you’ll be invited to explore 30 uniquely designed hearts created by local artisans across 13 cities in southern Idaho.
OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for all types of artisans to create a bespoke heart and execute their design on our large 5ft by 5ft fiberglass heart sculpture for Destination Caldwell. It will be placed in Indian Creek Plaza, so it will be displayed in a public setting for all to enjoy. You and your design will also be featured on a website and interactive app for the duration of this 2 year project.

Ongoing – Artists notified of selection status. This is dependent on the opportunity you apply for.
Once selected, artists will have 2 months from their notification date to complete their Heart
May 2025 through October 2025 – Installation and unveiling events
WHAT DESTINATION CALDWELL IS LOOKING FOR:
The theme is “Creek of Life: Caldwell’s Flowing Heart“; meaning the creek is more than water- it’s the lifeblood of Caldwell, tying together all that makes it special.
The design should celebrate that Indian Creek Plaza is the heart of Caldwell, exuding its heritage and promising future. The artwork should feature both bright, varied colors—including muted greens, oranges, reds, blues, and pinks—that evoke the energy and vibrancy of Caldwell.
Slightly abstract yet visually clear, the piece could incorporate materials like cement or plaster with relief, in the painting style of Van Gogh. The design should inspire excitement and bring energy, connecting the community through imagery of agriculture, wildlife, Western heritage, and a family-friendly vibe.
