Caldwell, with a population of 48,957 at the 2013 census, is a city in Canyon County, and is part of the Boise Metropolitan Area. Caldwell is home to the private four-year university, College of Idaho. Fishing, boating, and relaxation await nearby at Lake Lowell. Many of the communities in Caldwell offer close freeway access to the Boise River Greenbelt, restaurants, Costco, and Winco.
Nampa, with more than 82,000 residents, is Idaho’s second largest city and is located approximately 20 miles west of Boise in the southwest part of the state. Nampa also hosts the annual Snake River Stampede Rodeo, one of the top professional rodeos in the world.
